                 Gadsden County Libraries Writing Workshop

Have you ever thought about writing a book for your child? Can you imagine, even publishing your own book? The Gadsden County library has recently secured grant funding to help you do just that. Free, interactive writing workshops will be held in different locations throughout Gadsden County, including day care centers, classrooms, and libraries. This writing workshop will instruct parents or caregivers to create personal, creative writings to share with friends and family.

The first two scheduled workshops will be at (1) Crossroads Academy on Thursday, January 29th, from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. and (2) McGill Library on February 3rd, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. These writing workshops will continue throughout the year as well as other exciting activities sponsored by the McGill Library.  Come, join the fun and even create a keepsake for your child. We hope to see you there!

This project has been funded under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, administered by the Florida Department of State’s Division of Library and Information Services.
